The collection contains seven scrapbooks which were compiled by Mr. Jetton. The information in the scrapbooks was photocopied, and original informatin and photographs were removed for long-term archival storage. The scrapbooks contained information about the Piedmont Bank and Trust Company, personal information about its employees, correspondence, bank certificates, and photographs. Jetton, William Howard, 1909-1985.

William Howard Jetton was graduated from Davidson College in 1930. He began working at Piedmont Bank and Trust Company in Davidson, NC in 1924 while still a high school student. Except for the period 1934 to 1937, Jetton was affiliated with Piedmont Bank and Trust until 1980 when he was elected director emeritus and chairman emeritus. He died in 1985.
